Being a native English speaker in Vietnam opens opportunities otherwise not available. Puppetry is alien to most here, which gives it a novel appeal, of course it all depends on who I’m dealing with, Mr Em of LED English school has been open and enthusiastic about me introducing puppets to his students, who’ve been in stitches using sock puppets to interview each other.
