So I’m working on my animated film, steadily progressing, consistent progress, learning a lot, building patience and skills, its a long and challenging process, feeling frustrated at not being as able as I’d like to be, but having faith I’m getting there. Apart from consistent and disciplined progress, I am also adressing what I am…

So steadily moving forward with this project, animatic at the edit stage, I need to go through it again and make sure everything is communicating what I want it to, leading the story forwards. I’m working on the character sheets, so that I can reference them through the animation to help keep things consistent.

A new animation, Ivor and the Storm, though this is an old project to me, but didn’t progress past development, for various reasons. Now I am committed to getting this made, to let go of past things that held me back, such as fear of failure and perfectionism, living once I have to make what…

Chloe’s proportions are fairly realistic, I haven’t decided on her clothing yet, but fancy making a kimono, or similar Asia style garment. I am thinking to make…

Puppetry is alien to most here, which gives it a novel appeal, of course it all depends on who I’m dealing with, Mr Em of LED English school has been open and enthusiastic about me introducing puppets to his students, who’ve been in…

Sit in the cafe and do art, I have done this many times over the years and in some respects I find it more motivating than sitting on my tod, at home. Perhaps because at the cafe there’s not much else to do if your on your own, and it’s more relaxing than being on…

Anything can be a starting point I like to work within limits, as I find it simplifies the process, just need to look long enough with an open mind and take a chance.
