Sam and Françoise met on the Camino de Santiago in Spain in 2011. Their friendship inspired a book, “Little Sammy,” created as a gift by Sam. Françoise cherishes the thoughtful gesture. Sam, equipped for new adventures with a symbolic conch shell, holds a special place in their hearts. The jointed wooden pilgrim symbolizes their journey.
Sam was created for a friend in the Netherlands, we met whilst walking across Spain, on the Camino de Santiago, a 700km + walk, taking around 30 days, a memorable and life changing challenge, beautiful, inspiring memory that I have taken throughout my life, here’s my friend Françoise’s review:
